In the last two weeks we have been learning about Hineamaru and report writing

here are some facts about Hineamaru : i know that she was born In 1744, she traveled to Paihia,Waiomio,Hokianga and Ruapekepeka,her great great grandfather is Rahiri who Is also Hineamaru dicedints, she was also the leader of Ngatihine .

 

A couple of days ago we started learning and focusing on making rockets as part of the Wonder Project.

We were learning about drag and weight. We also tested a couple of bottles with different amounts of  water and pressure. Less water  and more pressure works best to make it fly the best.

In a couple of days I will post the video and photo of us flying the rockets we are going to make.

Today we all learnt about life jackets and swimming safety with Stratton the swimming lesson teacher. He taught the people in the pool to put your hand up for the help signal and if your cold put your knees  by your chest so you can at-least become warm it was very easy for them to  do the things he said to do.

 

Today I was learning about place value

putting them in right order I found this task  quiet easy

because all I did was put 3 ten blocks in the ten coll-om and the 7 blocks

in the one coll oms one thing I could do better next time is be faster and get tricky numbers that

will challenge me .
